Our Staff

The dedicated team at Crossville Mission Bible Training Center (CMBTC) stands as the cornerstone of our efforts, tirelessly devoting their time and energy to uplift our residents on their path to recovery and spiritual renewal. Each member of our staff possesses a profound understanding of the challenges encountered by our residents, offering guidance rooted in both personal experience and heartfelt empathy. Working cohesively, their resolute commitment revolves around witnessing lives reshaped by the redemptive influence of Jesus Christ, selflessly laboring without remuneration as they wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to this noble cause.

Rev. Adam Singh - Assistant Executive Director
Rev. Adam Singh, a former addict who triumphed over his own struggles through the Mission Teens program, has ascended from the ranks of its Residential and Staff phases to become the Assistant Executive Director at CMBTC. Originating from Kingsburg, CA, Adam wrestled with addiction for nearly a decade before discovering salvation and purpose at Crossville MBTC in 2012. Presently, through his dedicated service, Adam guides others along the path he once trod. His life stands as a testament to the transformative potency of faith and determination.

Kelli Singh - Assistant Executive Director
Kelli Singh, Adam's spouse, shares a comparable tale of reclamation. Like Adam, she emerged as a graduate of both the Residential and Staff phases of Mission Teens. Brought up in Clinton, TN, Kelli grappled with substance abuse for years before uncovering solace and healing at Crossville MBTC in 2017. United by their shared journey and purpose, Adam and Kelli entered matrimony on April 6, 2019, and warmly welcomed their daughter, Elliana Eden Singh, on May 28, 2020. In concert, they persevere in serving God and the community with steadfast faith and unwavering dedication.

Wen Williby - Resident Director
In March of 2019, Wendy joined CMBTC with a plan to spend just 90 days in order to "get back on her feet." Having never previously confronted her struggle with alcohol and drugs, she vehemently denied having any semblance of a "problem." Yet, it soon became evident that her life's trajectory was marked by attempts to evade the anguish and desolation stemming from childhood trauma, manifested in a perpetual pursuit of revelry. At The Mission, Wendy experienced an all-encompassing encounter with Jesus and His boundless love. She regards one of CMBTC's most profound gifts as the acceptance that it is "the mission is a place where it is okay not to be okay, but not okay to stay that way" This revelation empowered her to confront her past and opt for a future brimming with hope and liberation.

Susan Boerkel - Resident Director
Entering CMBTC in 2019 under a familial ultimatum, following her brother's discovery of her on the precipice of death, Susan's journey had been marred by a cycle of achievements overshadowed by the inexorable grip of addiction. Despite attaining a PhD and attaining worldly success, her accomplishments were persistently overshadowed by the inescapable ramifications of her dependency. Countless stints in rehab and futile attempts to exert control over her substance use consistently yielded defeat, resigning her to a life defined by addiction. But then, Susan encountered Jesus and eloquently asserts that her arrival at The Mission marked the discovery of the lifelong quest she had been pursuing.

Travis and Cassie McArthur - Resident Directors

Travis arrived in October of 2020. He was broken and desperate after 20 years of addiction. Alcohol and drugs had consumed every aspect of his life. He had explored every secular avenue for help.  From halfway houses and mental hospitals, rehabs and 12-step programs: all to no avail. While at the Crossville Mission, Travis accepted Jesus into his life and everything changed. His desperation for a drink changed into desperation towards helping those stuck where he once was. Along the way God has blessed Travis with his wife Cassie, and together they serve the His Kingdom.

Cassie came to Crossville Mission Bible Training Center in May of 2019 after a decade and a half of severe alcohol addiction, drug abuse, toxic relationships and bouncing from one corrections facility to another. Graduating the program, she went home and shortly found that there was still too much of the world in her. After returning to jail, without having to  request it, the court drew up papers to release her back to CMBTC. The Holy Spirit had interceded in her life once again. God’s path for her life became clear. She re-entered Crossville Mission in March of 2020, re-graduated the residential program, graduated staff training, met and married her husband Travis McArthur. Together, they serve the Lord through CMBTC, finally knowing what true joy is.
